Winemaker Graeme MacDonald describes the wine as "Bursting from the glass with notes of fresh brambly mountain fruit, wild blueberries, dried sage, pencil shavings, and hints of dark chocolate. A beautifully balanced wine expressing restraint, purity, and a sense of place. Thirty-four year old hillside vines add depth and concentration across the palate with fine noble tannins and a mouth-watering finish. A nod to the classic wines of the Napa Valley."
